Our Beliefs

God's Word

We are an independent, fundamental Bible believing church. Although we use the KJV in our reading and in the services, we are not KJV only.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired work of God, which is our supreme authority for doctrine, faith, and practice; that this inspiration existed only in the original manuscripts and that God has preserved his inpired Word (Psalm12:6-7).

The Trinity

We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (1John 5:7).

Sin

We believe that “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” Genesis 1:1. He went on to create all things over the next six days. Man was created a living being with a will to choose and a nature to make good choices. The Bible tells us in Genesis 3 that man rebelled agiainst God and was cast out of God’s presence. Because of Adam and Eve’s rebellion, all men are sinners and deserve eternity in hell, Romans 3:23.

Salvation

Praise God the story doesn’t end there! God loves us and provided a way to be saved when He sent His only begotten Son to bear our sins on Him on the cross, John 3:16. Because of Christ’s sacrifice we can know for sure we are on our way to heaven if we put our faith and trust in Him alone.

We believe that once a person is saved, he cannot lose his salvation. A believer has eternal security from the moment of his conversion (John 10:28-29, 5:24).

Growth

We believe that Christians are to be personally separated from all worldly practices that hinder spiritual growth and stability. We believe that God’s people should not love the world nor the things that are in the world (1 John 2:15,16). We believe that a Christian should live a holy life and maintain a testimony consistent with the New Testament. (1 Peter 1:15).
