Reasonable Faith Class
Monday at 6-7pm - Feb. 13th
Have you ever been asked why you believe what you believe? What was your answer? Was it helpful to the other person? Was it persuasive? 1 Peter 3:15 exhorts us to "always have a defense for the hope within us".
How do we have conversations about our faith? What questions should we ask when others say "there is no truth" or ask "how could a loving god allow so much suffering?".
We'll begin exploring Greg Koukl's book Tactics by a series of conversations with those attending - to ask why we believe what we believe. In the process we will discover how to have conversations without having all the answers.
In February, I'll be interviewing Pastor Andy Paruch, a theologian and current pastor of Fruita Faith Baptist Church.
